Formal Residential Garden
Hurricane Irene destroyed the beautiful old maple that softened the view of the garage from the new sunroom. The owners decided to create a garden as a new focal point and outdoor living space.
Moving existing shrubs and adding ones with complementary summer foliage and bright autumn coloring, we framed a small formal perennial garden with paths, flowers and fruit — not just a view, but a place for grandchildren to explore and grown-ups to relax.
