This tiny garden was ready for renewal. The owner asked for a paved terrace for entertaining and raised borders with a colorful mixture of shrubs, perennials and annuals. Chamaecyparis and lirope provide green in winter. The Japanese maples and tree peony from the old garden continue to act as focal points year round. The new smokebush and roses echo their reds and pinks.
